Granite

There are many ways to clean Granite, but many of them leave a film on your countertops. The best ways to clean them is with a washcloth and a small amount of dish soap but if too much is used, it could leave a streck. The second option is, add a small amount of alcohol to water. You can also use Pine-Sol Diluted in water or Granite Polishing Powder as well.

Why not other cleaners? Windex is not recommend because of the way it dulls the shine. Vinegar, lemon or anything acidic with eat away at its surface.

Quartz

Quartz can be cleaned by mixing water with soap or vinegar. Windex does just fine as well. Making a solution of rubbing alcohol and dish detergent will get a deeper clean if needed.

Stick to mild cleaners rather than bleach or other harsh materials.

Quartzite

Water mixed with dish soap or dish detergent will clean a Quartzite surface great, you can pretty much treat it like a granite countertop when it comes to cleaning. You can also use windex or any mild surface cleaners.

Should not use citrus cleaners or juice, like Granite it can eat away at the surface.
